These terms govern your use of LinkPay SL's digital wallet, transfer limits, fees, and security policies. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Section 01

Agreement Acceptance

By creating a LinkPay SL account, linking a card or bank account, or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not register for or use our Services.
Section 02

Eligibility & Registration

To register for a LinkPay SL account, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Be a resident of Sierra Leone
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid Sierra Leone phone number (+232) registered in your legal name
  • Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date registration information
  • Successfully complete our identity verification (KYC) process
Section 03

Account Tiers & Transaction Limits

To prevent financial fraud and comply with Bank of Sierra Leone guidelines, we operate a tiered account structure. Higher tiers unlock larger transaction limits:

We reserve the right to modify these limits or request additional documentation at any time.
Section 04

Wallet Transactions & Fees

  • P2P Transfers — Send funds to other LinkPay SL users instantly.
  • Wallet Loading — Add money via linked credit/debit cards or partner bank transfers.
  • Cash-out & Withdrawals — Transfer to your linked bank account or at authorised agents.
  • Transparent Pricing — All fees are disclosed in the app before you confirm a transaction.
Fees are subject to change. You will be notified in advance of any updates to our fee schedule.
Section 05

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use our Services for any of the following purposes:

  • Money laundering, terrorism financing, or any other illegal purpose
  • Purchasing prohibited goods, controlled substances, or weapons
  • Defrauding other users or accessing unauthorised accounts
  • Disrupting or interfering with our servers, networks, or application security
  • Using automated scripts to extract data or manipulate transactions
Section 06

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by Sierra Leone law, LinkPay SL shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Services, except in cases of our gross negligence.

Section 07

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Section 08

Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy
  • We detect suspicious, fraudulent, or unusual account activity
  • We are directed to do so by the Bank of Sierra Leone, the FIU, or other law enforcement bodies
